Prosper Ladies Impact
At Prosper Ladies Association, we are dedicated to making a tangible difference in our community through various initiatives. Here's a look at the impact we've made together:
Summer Lunch Program
Our Summer Lunch Program ensures that children in our community have access to nutritious meals during the summer break. Over the course of 10 weeks, we have: served 61,580 meals, packed 3,684 bags, supported approximately 620 children per week.
Summer Lunch Program
This program wouldn't be possible without the dedication of our volunteers: 400 drivers contributed 800 hours, 200 packers contributed 400 hours, 4 shopping helpers contributed 40 hours, 80 car loaders contributed 160 hours, 26 neighborhood reps who collected and dropped off meals contributed 260 hours.
In total, our amazing volunteers have contributed over 1,400 hours (excluding board member volunteer hours).
Scholarships
We are proud to support the educational aspirations of local high school seniors. This year, we awarded 25 scholarships totaling $44,400.
Christmas Angels
Our Christmas Angels initiative spreads joy during the holiday season by providing gifts to those in need. This year, we brought smiles to 370 children and 70 senior citizens.
Citihouse
We have also supported Citihouse, ensuring that stockings are filled and ready for those who need them most during the festive season.
