Our Impact in Action

Together, we turn compassion into action. From feeding local children and supporting families to bringing holiday joy and investing in the next generation, PLA is proud to make a lasting difference in Prosper. Here's a look at how your support is changing lives.

Summer Lunch Impact 2026

Over nine weeks, PLA made a meaningful impact by providing nutritious meals to children in need. Together, we served 32,850 meals and supported 323 children each week.This incredible effort was made possible by 628+ dedicated volunteers, who contributed more than 1,024 hours of service. Together, we packed 1,950 meal bags, 1,425 fruit and vegetable bags, and distributed a total of 75,125 food items. We also invested $50,000 in food purchases to help meet the needs of our community.Together, we showed the power of compassion, service, and community—and made a lasting difference!

Christmas Angels Impact 2025

Our Christmas Angels initiative spreads joy during the holiday season by providing gifts to those in need. This year, we brought smiles to 321 children and 26 senior citizens.

Scholarships Impact 2026

We are proud to support the educational aspirations of local high school seniors. This year, we awarded 14 scholarships totaling $26,500.

Grants Impacts 2026

We’re proud to support four incredible local nonprofits making a real impact: LovePacs, Cornerstone, Neighbors Nourishing Neighbors, and the Tuman Breast Cancer Foundation. Thank you for the life-changing work you do!
